As the Quality Clinician, you'll be responsible for delivering education and training programs for health care providers and professionals. You'll play a vital role in ensuring team members stay up to date on best practice and maintain the necessary skills to provide excellent resident care and services. 
About The Role *This is a 1.0 FTE position within the BC Nurses' Union  As the Quality Clinician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the best care standards possible. You'll dive into data analysis, scrutinizing resident outcomes and practice performance to craft targeted training programs for your team. By engaging in quality meetings and improvement initiatives, you'll oversee the implementation of strategies and evaluate their effectiveness. Collaborating with community and regional teams, you'll compare quality indicators to benchmarks, identify trends, and spearhead improvement plans. You'll also ensure data accuracy in RAI MDS submissions and conduct clinical audits, reporting findings to leadership. Education and training will be a key focus, aligning with best practices and organizational values, as you mentor team members and facilitate orientation and ongoing learning. Nurturing positive relationships and fostering a culture of health and safety will also be central to your role. 
Requirements A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent is required. Graduate of an accredited school ofnursing 
RN or an RPN license in good standing with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). 
Two years' nursing experience. Long-term care experience is preferred.

The Master Collective Compensation outlined in the Provincial BC Nurses Collective Agreement includes competitive vacation allowances, extended health and dental benefits, participation in a municipal pension plan, and access to an employee and family assistance program. Compensation corresponds to the Level 4 RN hourly rate, ranging from $49.20 to $63.47.
