About the opportunity: We are looking for an experienced Quality and Business Compliance Leader to join our Head office team based in Somerton VIC. This role reports to the General Manager of our Victorian business and is a pivotal leadership role, requiring alignment and support with Operations, Sales, R&D internally and Customers and Suppliers externally.
Key Responsibilities include: Lead your team to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives for all our products and services.Oversee all customer and supplier non-conformance issues and be responsible for directive root cause identification and the timely development and implementation of corrective actions.Act as liaison on customer quality audits and ensure that any corrective actions arising there from are executed and maintained.Regularly perform gap analysis between Labelmakers quality systems/procedures and customers quality standards as identified in customer quality audit reports.Monitor Labelmakers QA system and report on its performance to the company's management team; publish performance data against set objectives.Lead and support your team in internal company audits of Labelmakers quality systems and procedures.Formulate, implement, communicate and maintain testing procedures and protocols for new/changed materials/processes to ensure that product specifications are met.Facilitate Labelmakers cross-division communication meetings to standardise business processes and systems.To be successful in this role you will need: Ideally, 7+ years' experience in a Quality, technical and/or Manufacturing management role in a medium to large size high-tech Printing/Packaging industry.Previously led a team of quality and compliance leaders.A Degree in Science or Process Engineering (or related) is preferred.Demonstrated experience and success in communicating to senior management quality objectives and influencing and coordinating teams to achieve the company's quality goals.Able to drive a culture where nothing but delivering the best quality products is accepted.Demonstrated experience in minimising/eliminating all non-conformances within Labelmakers control.What can we offer you?
