About the Role As the Quality Business Partner for Community Services at Baptcare, your primary purpose is to drive and facilitate a culture of quality, safety, and operational efficiency within our Community Services programs.
Working closely with statewide Operations to support the building of operational capacity to be responsive to clients; developing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining systems, policies, and procedures; and ensuring all regulatory and accreditation standards are met.
The Quality Business Partner works collaboratively with internal stakeholders, staff members, and regulatory bodies to develop, support implementation, monitor and review Community Services quality management systems that are consistent with Baptcare service quality governance framework.
The role completes incident investigations and external notifications of reportable events, ensuring investigations are completed in line with regulations and best practice standards and according to required timeframes.
This role is essential in promoting excellence in consumer services and operational practices by ensuring ongoing compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards, regulatory requirements, guidelines, and funding contract requirements are met.
Key Duties Monitor and ensure compliance with all regulations and guidelinesUndertake audits aligned with the Audit scheduleParticipate in planning and preparation for accreditationDrive a culture of continuous improvement across services and undertake continuous improvement, participating in quality and practice programs of workEnsure accreditation readiness every day through self-assessments and effective accreditation processesSupport the service level implementation of child and youth safety and wellbeing requirementsDrive a culture of innovation and continuous improvementPrepare, complete, and review investigations into reportable conduct and other major impact consumer incidents/risks, as per the requirements of Regulators, Commissions andConduct incident investigations and reviews in line with the requirements of external reporting requirements across Community Service programsWrite investigation reports into serious incidents and reportable conduct, ensuring high quality investigation completion within reasonable and mandated timeframesMonitor site incidents, complaints, and feedback to support accurate site reporting and responsesMonitor risks and provide incident reporting and investigation analysis and reports, as requestedCommitment to the safety, well-being and best interests of children and young people, and duty of care in the prevention, identification, and response to child abuseCommitment to all Baptcare customers and clients and the special needs of children, vulnerable people, people with a disability; people from a culturally or linguistically diverse background; and/or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peopleSupport service-level implementation, evaluation and monitoring of Baptcare Quality and Practice Governance Framework, systems, and process.Key Selection Criteria Proficiency in implementing quality assurance programs for improved servicesProven ability to ensure strict regulatory adherence and manage compliance audits and prepare documentationStrong data analysis skills and practice skills for informed decision-making and continuous improvementDemonstrated experience in client incident investigation requirementsExperience in applying quality and risk management frameworks required in the Out of Home Care sector and the requirements of the Reportable Conduct SchemeSound understanding of all Child Safe Standards (VIC) and Child and Youth Safe Standards (TAS) specific to the state.Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to build and maintain strong, credible relationshipsStrong independent risk assessment capabilities including identification, analysis, planning, monitoring, reporting, and controlling risksAlignment and commitment to Baptcare's Mission, Vision, and ValuesAbout You Tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated relevant experience in social services, legal, social work, psychology, human services, business, HR management, and investigationsPrevious experience working within the aged care sectorFor You Baptcare is focused on living our values, not just talking about them.
