About the roleReporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Assurance Technologist will be responsible for both Wet and Dry Quality Assurance Testing of Raw Materials and Finished Goods.Work Location: Murarrie - BrisbaneReporting to: Quality ManagerSalary range: AUD 60,000 - AUD 85,000
Key responsibilities Perform routine QA tasks as outlined in the Quality Policies Manual and associated procedures and work instructions.
This includes but is not limited to the following:Finished product bench testingInput QA data into SAP System as part of the positive releaseRaise NC and block stock.
Follow up on non-conforming stock as requiredComplete internal daily calibrationComplete Temperature Checks for ChillersRaw Material Releasing and COA ReviewsMaintain QA retain procedures for sampleUndertake other related activities as may be requiredAssist in shelf life testing for Finished Goods and Raw MaterialsAssist with Shelf Life Validation ProgramInvestigate, record and notify any and all production incidents/issues during shift as requiredMicro/Gluten Sample Packing for shipment to 3rd party testing laboratory, including completion of submission formsWater and airplate testing when requiredWork closely with production team members to ensure compliance with the Kerry Quality SystemsContinual improvement of products and quality systemsAssist in individual problem resolutionsParticipate in internal audits of the Site Quality System as directed by the QS Team and assist in routine GMP/Bucket WalksEnsure that laboratory equipment and cleanliness are maintained to the highest possible standardQualifications and skills Diploma/Degree Level Food Science Qualification or relevant laboratory and/or industry experienceAppropriate experience in food laboratoriesWindow-based computer systemsSAP ExperienceKerry is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
