Our client is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor for a permanent full-time opportunity and ASAP start located in Mt Kuring-Gai.

Our client is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor for a permanent full-time opportunity and ASAP start located in Mt Kuring-Gai (near Hornsby). Working in a large further Processing Facility where the likes of chicken nuggets, chicken tenders and pop corn chicken are manufactured.

Start time will be from roughly 6am-7am and finish around 3pm-4pm.Approximately 8 people reporting directly back to this position.

Objectives of the Role

Primary responsibility is to provide support to the QA Manager in the implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety and Quality Systems in order to comply with the company's quality policies, legislative and customer requirements for quality accreditation.

Critical Skills and Experience Required

Previous experience in food processingA sound knowledge of WQA, SQF 2000, Australian Standards, Coles Supplier requirements and HACCP implementation guidelinesDetailed knowledge of all products and processes within scopeExcellent time management skillsAbility to achieve departmental targets

Preferred Skills and Experience

Ability to work in a team environmentBackground in poultry processingSelf-motivatedGood communication skills, time management, organisational skills

Essential Qualifications / Licenses

Tertiary qualification in food science / related agricultural science or relevant industry experience and training (i.e. HACCP)Excellent people skills and mathematical & communication skills, both written and oralLegally entitled to work in Australia (Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
