Job Description Quality Assurance Officers Approximate 6-month contract| Canberra Location | $60.57 - $70.03 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation | WWVP check required OVERVIEW Our State Government client is currently seeking experience Quality Assurance Officers to join their team.
Within this role you will work in partnership with education and care providers in supporting compliance and promoting quality for children and their families in education and care settings.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Independently manage and undertake assessment and rating processes, making decisions autonomously.
Provide professional support and information on all aspects of education and care to providers, educators, families, and other stakeholders.
Liaise and negotiate with non-government and government organisations involved in the provision of education and care services and represent the Directorate at meetings, forums and events.
Consistently model and demonstrate the ACT Government Respect, Equity and Diversity Framework and lead safe work practices that are in accordance with the Directorate's Work Health and Safety policies, procedures and roles and responsibilities.
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS Demonstrated well developed written skills including the preparation of formal reports, and correspondence.
Demonstrated engagement with the ACT Government Respect, Equity and Diversity Framework in accordance with the Directorate's Work Health and Safety policies, procedures and roles and responsibilities.
Tertiary qualifications and experience in education and care is required.
Related qualifications and experience may be considered.
Current NQA Authorised Officer status is desirable.
Otherwise, the successful applicant will be required to obtain and may be required to complete (ACECQA) Authorised Officer and Assessor Training.
