Quality Assurance OfficerHeritage and People's Choice - Sydney, AustraliaJob DescriptionA workplace for you to be, you.Come and work with a team that values your unique perspective, contribution, career development, and growth.About the role - Full-time, fixed term contract until November 2025In this role, we are seeking an experienced AML/CTF professional to be responsible for executing and improving the AML/CTF Operations Quality Control Framework across our AML operations and CDD teams. You will be responsible for delivering Line 1 QA including targeted training, support, reporting, feedback, and identifying knowledge gaps with your stakeholders, uplifting their competence, efficiency, and championing a continuous improvement mindset towards AML/CTF and Customer Due Diligence (CDD).Key responsibilities include:Complete Quality Assurance reviews and control testing on AML/CTF Operations and CDD team activities to ensure adherence to procedures as well as quality and accuracy of work.Support changes in systems and processes and provide feedback and suggestions to improve the change process.Provide support and coaching to the AML/CTF Operations Analysts and CDD Officers to develop skills and improved effectiveness.Provide detailed monthly reporting to AML/CTF Senior Leader and Team Leaders highlighting any concerns, knowledge gaps, or training opportunities.About youThe successful candidate will demonstrate the following:Strong understanding of AML/CTF Operations team procedures, systems, and practices.Recent and relevant practical experience in complying with Australian AML regulations.Understanding of and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to learn new systems as required.Attention to Detail: high level of accuracy in order to check, process, and complete tasks.Communication: high standard of written & verbal communication with an ability to clearly convey/explain information.Continuous Improvement: ability to identify areas for improvement, recommend best practices, and co-ordinate change.Experience in a similar role will be well regarded.Why you'll love working with us:People First Bank - our new brand - says exactly what we're all about: people.
