Job Description About this opportunity Night Shift; 11pm to 7am Monday to Saturday
Quality and Food Safety Responsibilities To assist QA Manager where required; i.e conduct internal system and food safety audits Key Responsibilities Perform quality inspection and testing of finished product in accordance with the specification, as required. Roving production inspection and testing, and maintenance of daily QC records for all products produced. Report OOS (Out of Specification) results and recommend solution to improve quality performance Assist with corrective and preventative action implementation for product and system non-conformance Work with the shift Supervisor to rectify and eliminate product non-conformances Act as supervisor / shift leader when required Detail Responsibilities Shift handover Calibration checks of equipment Recording quality specifications in SAP Completing all relevant QA checks as per customer requirements Assist in resolving customer complaints Recommend efficient work methods during rework Training of employees as required Quarantine non-conforming product when out of spec Attend Quality Department meetings when required Maintain inventory of consumables / labels Qualifications A minimum of 2 years experience in Quality Ability to read and write in English Ability to use inspection and test equipment
