Based at our Shepparton Production Facility, we are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Value-Added Meat & Food Business.
About the Role: Reporting to the Senior Business Manager, the QA Manager will be responsible for the management of the QA function and maintain business processes and auditing procedures to ensure appropriate SQF, HACCP, and Export accreditations are obtained and maintained.
The Quality Assurance Manager will provide direction as required to the quality assurance staff and production staff on quality matters.
This role requires a determined and assertive person who demonstrates good judgement. You must have strong organisational skills and be able to prioritise and plan. You will need to have excellent communication skills to work with other staff, management, contractors, suppliers, customers and auditors. This role requires strong administrative and computer skills.
This role will commence immediately and is a full-time permanent position.
Preferred applicants should have: Food Safety QualificationsExperience within meat processing, specifically within a Value-Added environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPrevious experience in Quality AssurancePrevious experience in a supervisory positionFormal HACCP training with a thorough working knowledge of HACCPExperience as an on-site SQF PractitionerExposure to WHS & Environmental systemsIf this sounds like you, please apply with an up-to-date resume and covering letter.
