Details of the offer

Quality Assurance Manager
When you choose AusNet, you'll join genuine people working together, making Real Progress.
At AusNet, we're the link between renewable energy sources and local communities, playing a key role in the clean energy transition and providing essential energy to every Victorian family.
Help us lead the way, while enriching your career with real people who encourage you to bring your best and make real impact – for your career, our communities, and Australia's cleaner energy future.
Purposeful work with genuinely good people. That's refreshing.
In this exciting new opportunity as the Quality Assurance Manager , your role will be to monitor and enhance the quality of digitally enabled programs and projects within AusNet. You'll actively engage with project stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure compliance with relevant assurance requirements, standards, and company policies. Leave your mark by defining quality management processes throughout the project delivery life cycle, conduct in-depth quality assurance reviews, and address any issues identified during the review process.
With a 3/2 Hybrid split (Office/WFH) , this role is based in Southbank Fresh Water Place and is part of the Digital PMO Team.
This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:
Ensure compliance through actively engaging with project stakeholders and delivery teams.
Define quality management standards and processes as they relate to the delivery life-cycle of digital programs and projects.
Perform quality assurance of projects at key delivery stage gates to ensure mandatory activities and artefacts have been completed.
Perform deep dive quality assurance reviews of key artefacts e.g. Business Case documentation.
Ensure projects remediate any issues identified as part of quality assurance reviews.
Track, monitor and report on adherence to specified quality management standards and quality uplift initiatives to nominated governance forums.
Identify, develop and embed continuous improvement opportunities across portfolio delivery processes, activities, and artefacts to support quality uplift.
You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:
Degree qualified in Finance or a related discipline.
Applied experience with Digital Quality Assurance Management in a projects environment, including uplift in assurance as a result of identified improvement opportunities.
Strong understanding of waterfall/agile delivery methodologies and deliverables/artefacts.
Skilled in the use of Jira and supporting project and program management tools.
Relevant training or qualification in project and program management would be favourable.
Demonstrated experience working in a multi-vendor environment.
A real place to belong.
We celebrate unique voices, refreshing perspectives, and diversity in our team. Engage and connect through our social club, family day, wide range of events, or by joining one of our Employee Network Groups.
We believe in more than just competitive pay. Here's what sets us apart:
Flexibility : whether this is hybrid work, flexible hours, or part-time arrangements, we'll work with you to help balance work and life.
Leave: more than typical personal leave and a generous 14 weeks of paid parental leave, with no minimum service.
Community giving: a paid day to volunteer with our social impact partner, Foodbank, or for a cause that matters to you.
Perks: we offer all the other perks you've come to expect like purchased leave, income protection insurance, novated leasing, corporate discounts, private health cover discounts, and more.
As an industry in transformation, we're excited by the possibilities ahead.
So, if you're passionate about our purpose and committed to making real progress, bring your energy and join AusNet. Together, we can shape a new way forward.
