QA Manager | Construction of a large scale solar farm | contract role | Mudgee | Electrical contractor | Accommodation & travel provided About our Client: Our well established and reputable client are specialists in electrical works for utility projects. Working on large scale renewable projects, they are helping to pave the way to a renewable future. Duties and tasks: As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will report into the Project Manager for the construction of a 290MW Solar Farm. Some duties include (but not limited to): Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance program specific to electrical installations on the solar farm project. Conduct regular inspections and audits of all electrical work to ensure compliance with project specifications, relevant codes, and standards. Establish and maintain documentation for quality control processes, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans. Provide training and guidance to project personnel on quality assurance procedures and best practices. Skills & Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Proven experience in a similar quality assurance role within the construction industry, preferably on large-scale projects such as solar farms In-depth knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
