The Role We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team! 
This pivotal role involves overseeing quality assurance and control processes, facilitating compliance with industry standards and regulations, and driving initiatives that ensure the highest levels of quality in our construction projects
This position is company wide and can be based in either one of our six office locations throughout Queensland.   
Duties and Responsibilities Implementation and Maintenance of QMS Develop and implement the company's quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.Educate all staff in the QMS and monitor compliance, ensuring consistency across regional offices.Ensure that the QMS is effectively maintained, updated, and improved over time.Be involved in the documentation and recording of all quality management processes and procedures.Quality Assurance and Control Establish quality assurance protocols and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with these protocols.Oversee quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design to final inspection.Identify areas for quality improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.Compliance and Standards Ensure that all construction activities comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and ensure that the company's practices align with legal requirements.Act as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters with regulatory bodies and clients.Apply engineering knowledge to develop solutions that meet client/specification requirements.Apply knowledge and experience of commercial construction and/or maintenance practices and principles to construction and/or maintenance, contributing to continuous improvement of these processes and practices.Training and Development Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that all employees are knowledgeable about quality standards and practices.Foster a culture of quality across the organization, emphasizing the importance of quality in all aspects of the business.Mentor and support staff in understanding and implementing quality management principles.Provide leadership and encouragement to all workers to ensure that they comply with established Company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will come with an open mind, willing to learn. Others include:  Bachelor's degree in a related field.Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) is highly desirable.Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the commercial construction industry.Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.Knowledge and experience of Quality Assurance and Quality Control process, practices, documentation and toolsAbility to review, identify, and interpret technical requirements in project contracts, scopes and engineering drawingsAbility to collaboratively foster a culture of system compliance and high performance by identifying quality system improvements, developing quality training materials and document control system.Excellent time management and organisational skillsAttention to detail Ability to work autonomously in a team environment Innovative and flexible in problem solvingStrong interpersonal and communication skillsConstruction industry induction cardFull unencumbered Drivers Licence  BENEFITS · Vibrant and Supportive Company Culture: Enjoy a dynamic work environment where collaboration and growth are prioritized.
