Managing a team of QA Coordinators across Sydney and Melbourne, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of quality assurance to ensure that all products comply with our brand, legal, safety and end customer quality requirements. You will lead and elevate the customer and supplier focus on product and non-product quality, exceed expectations and satisfaction by strengthening the systematic/analytical feedback loop with strong leadership, operation, communication guidance to internal/external teams.
This role works across our brands, including Bonds, BNT, Jockey and Berlei, and spans all categories: apparel, intimates, underwear, activewear, and socks across Men's, Women's, Kids & Baby.
Key responsibilities include: Ensuring the approved final product and non-product quality specifications and processes are followed from the start of bulk manufacturing until customer transaction.Ensure all quality policies and manuals are up to date, in line with current legislation and brand values.Ensuring all team members and vendors are trained on quality standards.Identification of styles during development for potential risks, raw material selection, and construction evaluation.Regular DC and store visits, interaction with customer service, retail team to understand customer perception, brand health, identification of areas of risk and areas for improvement.Timely and structured investigation & resolution of bulk quality issues/consumer complaints including recommendation of action, claim resolution and problem solving with countermeasures.Establish structured and visible feedback loops and quality assurance indicators covering all internal and external customers/processes.What experience do I have? Excellent leadership, people management, training and coaching skills.Work well within a team environment and across all levels of business with excellent communication skills.Possess an optimistic, "CAN DO" spirit and a strong commitment to continuous improvement.Extensive knowledge & understanding of textiles and garment construction.Customer-oriented, strong technical background for apparel and a strong desire to pursue business and operations excellence.Project management and implementation of processes.Ability to multi-task and find balance between strategic thinking and operational activities.Willing to travel, and sometimes on short notice.
