Henley is committed to delivering exceptional service to our New Home customers, and we are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a QA Inspector to join our Home Assurance team. This permanent, full-time role will involve conducting quality checks on Henley and ReadyBuilt homes at critical construction stages, ensuring adherence to relevant safety standards.
We provide a fully maintained vehicle, iPad, and phone to support you in this role.
About the Role Reporting to the Home Assurance Manager, you will draw on your extensive building industry experience to oversee the quality assurance stages of the construction process. Your primary goal will be to maintain the highest standards of workmanship and materials, ensuring our new homes meet all Contractual and Compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct Quality Assurance inspections at critical construction stages. Perform the following Quality Checks and provide detailed inspection reports to the Construction Supervisor, Construction Manager, and the Victorian Quality, Warranty, and Handover Manager: Pre Paint; Plaster, internal fit off, external lockup complete, prior to painting. Final inspection; before handover to the customer. Ensure compliance with Building Contract and inclusions, National Construction Code and legal obligations, including OH&S, BCA, energy, fire, and electrical codes. Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain smooth operations and ongoing product development. About You You bring extensive experience in residential construction and trade, along with a thorough understanding of Rescode, Australian Standards, and the National Construction Code (NCC). Your commitment to quality and compliance, combined with a strong knowledge of construction techniques and methods, makes you an ideal fit for this role. You excel at reading plans, interpreting contract and tender inclusions, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders to address their needs, solve problems, and consistently deliver outstanding customer service.
