This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities across multiple projects and operates within a dynamic environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail. Reporting to the Quality Assurance & Systems Manager, the QA Coordinator will assist and support regional and project management teams to maintain the quality management system certification (ISO 9001), monitor compliance with project-specific requirements, the National Construction Code (NCC) and Building Code of Australia, and implement Multiplex quality management plans, procedures, and related systems through project establishment, construction, and commissioning / completion activities. Key accountabilities include:Assist Project Manager and Site Manager to implement the Quality management plan and associated processManage quality documentation, collate records, review and evaluate contract and subcontractor information Conduct Subcontractor quality audits and inspections and participate in and respond to internal/external auditsPrepare reports and effectively analyse and communicate quality informationInspect construction work to verify compliance with drawings and specifications, where deficiencies are identified, monitor and document corrective and preventive actionsEvaluate subcontractor QMPs and supporting documentation (ITPs / ITRs) and compile quality assurance reports and statisticsFacilitate risk workshopsTo be successful in this role you will have:Industry-recognized qualifications in quality assurance management (e.g., certification, diploma) and/or 3-5yrs of proven experience in a quality role within the construction industry or a related fieldAuditor competency and a preferred trade backgroundSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a teamA sound knowledge of building methodology, including structure and finishesExcellent communication skills with a strong understanding of project documents, plans, and specificationsUnderstanding of risk management principles and experience implementing ISO 9001 quality management systems or similar plus auditing experience and process methodologyIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteDetail-oriented with strong analytical skills and customer service-oriented with the ability to remain calm in stressful situationsWe invite applications from people of all genders, cultures and walks of life.
