Lex Medicus is privileged to collaborate with over 220+ experienced and credentialed medical experts, spanning over 50 specialties. Together, we are committed to delivering impartial, fit-for-purpose and high-quality medico-legal reports and impairment services throughout Australia.The Quality Assurance Consultant is involved in the provision of high quality, factually accurate and timely medico-legal reports. We are seeking to employ on a Part Time basis, 3 to 4 Days per week.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Review of medico-legal reports in line with quality framework and relevant regulations and legislationBuilding sustainable relationships, connections and trust with customers and experts through open and interactive communicationWork collaboratively with team members to ensure prioritisation of workflowProvide feedback and training for medical experts on medico-legal report writingResolve emerging problems & handle customer complaints by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits, follow ups to ensure resolution, customer record interactions and escalationMinimum Requirements:Experience or qualifications in allied health, legal or insurance industries, ideally with experience in interpreting medico-legal reports – highly regardedExperience in utilising the AMA Guides and WorkCover Guides for assessing permanent impairment and disability assessments is desirable.High level of written and verbal communication skillsGood computer skills, particularly with Microsoft OfficeYou are welcome here.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, proudly welcoming people with disability including mental health conditions, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, people from the LGBTQI community, veterans, carers and Indigenous Australians to our team.We are happy to adjust our recruitment process to support accessibility needs.
