Quality Assurance Co-ordinator Sync Lift Engineering have an opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance co-ordinator to join our team in Gladstone.
The QA co-ordinator is responsible for ensuring all work produced in relation to fabrication and mechanical overhaul welding meets business quality standards.
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team, where you can take pride in your work and be part of unique and exciting projects from Pit to Port.
About the Role Lead quality management and conduct regular welding inspections.Oversee site and workshop qualification testing in collaboration with project managers.Report on quality performance, addressing issues and areas of concern.Track and document weld traceability, manage non-conformances, and maintain quality records.Ensure compliance with ISO standards and maintain a technical library of relevant specifications and instructions.Provide training in quality management practices.Develop tender quality submissions.Develop, implement, and audit quality plans and systems to maintain product and process standards.
What you should bring to the role A tertiary degree or diploma in related engineering discipline with post-graduate or similar studies in quality management and/or business improvement techniques.Minimum 3 years in a similar roleMinimum 5 years of relevant welding experience.Experience in auditing, technical writing, team facilitation, development and delivery of training courses.Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisation skillsStrong communication skills (verbal and written)A current Queensland Driver License.The following will be highly regarded iiW International Welding SpecialistThis is an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled and motivated team and continue to grow your career.
