As a Quality Assurance Analyst in the Financial Crime Quality Assurance and Enablement (QAE) team, you will be responsible for completing quality assurance reviews over alerts assessed by the Financial Crime Surveillance team. Your role will include performing Quality Assurance activities with consideration for data quality, accuracy, completeness, and adherence to the Westpac Group and Financial Crime regulatory requirements and standards.
You will work closely with management to identify trends in performance and emerging patterns, supporting management to drive quality assurance within the team. You will be responsible for performing rechecks to ensure errors raised are remediated by the stakeholders adequately and in a timely manner.
Reporting into the Team Manager, you will provide key insights on assurance review outcomes and drive positive uplift across the Financial Crime Surveillance team.
Other key responsibilities include: Maintaining relationships with peers and key stakeholders, promoting an environment of collaboration, continual improvement, and uplift.Delivering high standard QA outputs over a range of alerts/cases.Delivering constructive feedback of assurance findings with concise and clear rationale of reasons for finding.Continued support of team capability through effectively supporting team manager with efficiencies across QA processes, standard operating models, and QA tools.What's in it for me? What do I need? To be successful in this role, you must have experience in Quality Assurance working in or with an operational financial crime team. You will also have strong investigative, problem-solving, and negotiating skills ideally within an operational banking environment.
