We partner with some of the world's largest blue-chip companies and government agencies, private enterprises, and public institutions, making us the number one contractor in Australia.As we continue to evolve and deliver, we're seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Advisor to join our dynamic New Energy team.ABOUT THE POSITION ON OFFERThe Quality Assurance Advisor fulfills a critical role, handling project-specific QA document control requirements, and ensuring alignment with the Project Quality Plan, specified standards, and field quality control processes and procedures.This position will be based at our Western Downs Stage 2 Battery Project, ideally suited for Chinchilla locals or professionals seeking Drive-In/Drive-Out (DIDO) from Brisbane.Key responsibilities include:Providing advice and support to the site project team on Quality Assurance matters, processes, and procedures while fostering strong working relationships with all key stakeholders.Managing document control and QA services for the contract to ensure seamless technical document management and timely monthly milestone payments.Finalising corrective actions from clients, sub-contractors, or internal non-compliance/observation reports, ensuring apt remedial actions and comprehensive Quality Evidence.Reviewing technical documentation for inclusivity of correct specifications and drawings in Work Packs and Requisitions.Coordinating and supporting Inspection and Test Plans per the site team's requirements.Ensuring calibrated measuring devices availability for activity measurement capabilities and maintaining Tool calibration register.Data entry into the standard registers to be accurate and up to date.Liaising effectively with staff, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring controlled copies of latest approved documents & drawings are distributed accordingly.Reviewing and compiling inspection records for compliance with agreed requirements and for inclusion with the MDR for timely handover to completion.We are looking for a candidate with:Appropriate trade and technical qualifications.Prior experience in construction or equivalent heavy industry.Strong experience in quality assurance or quality control.Knowledge of standards like AS9001.WHAT WE OFFERUGL promotes diversity and alternate ways of working including part-time.When you join UGL, you'll get to shape the nation alongside Australia's best experts.
