As part of HBT Australia, Waratah Engineering, Argenton is a leading manufacturer of underground mining equipment. We manufacture and support custom-built mining equipment such as shuttle cars, feeder breakers and multi-bolters as well as offering bespoke remanufacturing services for other underground equipment.
About the role The Quality Assurance (QA) Administrator supports the quality assurance function by assisting with the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of quality systems and standards in a manufacturing environment. This role involves coordinating documentation, managing records, supporting inspections, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards to maintain high levels of product quality.
Key responsibilities include: Documentation Management: Maintain and organize quality assurance documents, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), inspection records, and product specifications. Ensure that all documents are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company and regulatory standards. Support the development and revision of QA documentation as needed. Data Collection and Reporting: Assist with gathering of quality data from production processes. Assist with preparation of reports summarizing inspection results, non-conformance issues, and corrective actions. Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary documents and records. Support the Quality Assurance Coordinator in conducting regular internal quality audits and identifying areas for improvement. Inspection, Testing, Compliance and Regulatory Support: Assist Quality Assurance team members in implementing quality testing procedures, standards, and requirements. Support the Quality Assurance Coordinator in maintaining certification requirements and staying prepared for regulatory audits. Training and Communication: Assist Quality Assurance Coordinator in training team members on quality processes, SOPs, and best practices. Assist in communication of quality issues and improvements to relevant teams in a clear, professional manner. About you Strong administration experience, ideally in related discipline. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task. Basic understanding of quality control methodologies and compliance standards. Strong logical, analytical and problem solving abilities. Ability to work well in a team. Strong planning and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail skills.
