This role will be offered on a permanent full time basis, 38 hours per week. This position will report to the MPHB Quality and Safety Manager and as part of the team aid the clinical department managers in the analysis of quality and safety issues identified.
Assist with the review of clinical incidentsAssist with the management and review of complaints and complimentsAssist the implementation of innovation and systems improvement that eliminate/reduce patient harmAssist with the collection and analysis of patient safety and clinical outcome data to evidence the effectiveness of the quality and safety systemSupport the Quality and Safety Manager to improve the effectiveness of the quality system and monitor compliance with policies, the implementation of corrective and preventive actions and survey recommendationsMonitor literature and professional organizations for new or revised best practice related to quality and safetyContinuously evaluate and improve the hospital's quality and safety program and provide education / training related to quality and safety, incident investigation and management and the use of Incident reporting tools as requiredAbout you Ideally, you will also have at least 2 years frontline clinical experience and intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
