Due to increased growth of the business, we are looking for a Quality and Safety Administrator. The Quality & Safety Administrator's role is responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures that promote quality, provide training to raise awareness, monitor compliance with relevant laws, and improve and maintain HACCP accreditation within the business.
You will be based at our Laverton North facility, with regular travel to our Sydney facility.
Key Responsibilities Promoting and ensuring all CoR and OHS policies, procedures and required documentation is delivered, understood and reviewed to ensure continuous improvement of both training and process delivery. Identifying continuous improvement of systems and processes relating to OHS & CoR through audits, site risk assessments, and monitoring performance. Engaging with all business unit managers to identify and develop improvements to support safety, training and CoR compliance. Ensure up-to-date instruction & training of Safe Work Practices. Standardise safe transport, logistics and warehouse management processes and practices. Manage inductions of all new staff and contractors. Hazard identification and mitigation related to warehouse and transport activities. Present training via various training methods to upskill employees in the areas of CoR/OHS. Develop, nurture and manage effective relationships with all relevant stakeholders – internal and external. What you will bring to the team Min 2yrs experience in a quality role within a logistics environment; preferably cold storage. Substantial proven HACCP implementation and compliance experience. Internal audit knowledge. Demonstrate strong analytical and reporting experiences. Advanced experience with Microsoft 365. Strong leadership skills and must be well organised with excellent administration skills. Clear communication and interpersonal skills is a must to drive the site's quality management system. Function independently in completing tasks and must have a proven history of functioning in a team project environment.
