Part-time - flexible working hoursOnsite Parking availableRegistered Nurse Level 2Position Responsibilities The position is responsible for providing support for the Quality/Risk and Infection Control programs to complement the strategic direction, daily operational processes and the continual achievement of accreditation for the hospital.
Reporting to the Quality, Risk and Infection Control Manager, you will assist in the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Quality and Infection Control procedures, practices and standards. You will work closely with members of the multidisciplinary team and participate in relevant committees to collect and collate data, key performance indicators (KPIs) and infection control clinical indicators. You will have sound knowledge of National Quality Safety Healthcare Standards (NSQHS) and ACHS Accreditation System and experience in supporting clinical teams to meet required standards. The position will also conduct clinical audits, monitoring and surveillance as required.
You will undertake direct patient care as required, providing guidance and support to less experienced members of the nursing team. You will be a confident practitioner able to provide education and training to staff on relevant topics.
Selection Criteria: Current Registration with AHPRAAt least 5 years post-graduate experience and/or qualifications in either Infection Control and/or Quality ManagementExperience in the Acute settingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA commitment to a high standard of clinical and customer-focused careHigh degree of computer literacy including MS Office and various databasesAbility to work cohesively within a team environmentProven time management and prioritisation skillsImmunisation certificate (or working towards)About Us Located on Malvern Road in Prahran, The Victoria Clinic is a private psychiatric facility that specializes in the provision of high-quality inpatient and outpatient mental health services.
