About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality and Environmental Specialist to join our team on a 12-month max-term contract, based at either our Carole Park, Queensland, or Adelaide, South Australia locations.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and certifying our ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
As a key part of the team, you will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, lead ISO training initiatives, and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage the organisation's ISO Quality Management System (ISO 9001) and Environmental Management System (ISO 14001). Coordinate and communicate with departments to ensure ISO standards are consistently applied. Provide training and guidance to staff regarding ISO standards, requirements, and updates. Prepare and present ISO compliance reports and performance data to management. Conduct risk assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions. Actively participate in external ISO audits and inspections. Maintain and update regulatory ISO documents. Oversee the Corrective Action System and documented information procedures. About You We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in quality and environmental management systems and the following:
5 years experience in a similar role. Proven experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. Strong ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage compliance projects. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Effective communicator and trainer, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
