90 bed residence – Respect and Service Excellence is the main aim at our facilityAttractive salary package + BenefitsFull time, Permanent/ flexible work arrangements About the RoleAs a progressive and passionate professional, this key position will provide hands on management, direction and support for, education, quality and accreditation at Warrawee, Council's residential aged care facility.Reporting to the Facility Manager, key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Overseeing and implementing education of staff including hands-on training and engaging third party accredited educatorsConduct training needs analysis and identify improvement opportunities, coordinate, deliver and evaluate relevant education to support remediating gaps and coaching the care home team for sustainability.Managing and preparing reports on education and quality outcomes for operations, Executive and Councillors.Maintaining and managing Warrawee's plan for Continuous Improvement (PCI) and review with key stakeholders to ensure compliance. You will know the importance of building trusted partnerships and clarity of communication with a diverse range of stakeholders.You will be respected for your emotional intelligence as you work through complex challenges and identify areas of employee's skills and knowledge that require further learning development and create plans to achieve this.Additional requirements: Qualification in Nursing (Div 1) with current AHPRA registration.Experience in residential aged care in education, quality or management role.Extensive knowledge of Commonwealth Aged Care Quality Standards, Infection Control, Accreditation and AN-ACC.
