Stockton, Newcastle, Maitland & Hunter NSW Nursing - Aged Care (Healthcare & Medical) Full time We are currently seeking a committed Quality and Education Coordinator
to join our Care team at our Moran Stockton home, reporting to the General Manager.
As a member of the leadership team , you will work closely with the General Manager, and leadership team to achieve a high standard of care and service delivery to our residents.
The role is responsible for leading and coordinating the Quality Improvement & Education Program at Moran Stockton.
Extensive experience in education is not required, but a genuine interest in developing and mentoring people and a curiosity to learn more and develop your skill set is a must.
The scope of the role is broad and varied with exposure to facility and care management, as well as corporate quality and change projects.
You will be supported by a dynamic local and corporate leadership team and mentored to ensure you thrive in your role and further develop your skills.

About the Role
A broad and varied autonomous role, member of facility Leadership team Manage continuous improvement function within the facility Prepare for and support Accreditation (currently 100% compliant, Accreditation due Jan 2026) Manage education and training program to provide a varied and comprehensive program to develop skills and capabilities Liaise with external suppliers and resources to provide ongoing education Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance outcomes for residents Participate in corporate lead projects Share expertise and knowledge to influence better outcomes
About You
Registered Nurse with relevant registration and experience (not less than 3 years) Solution driven by nature with a constant focus on continuous improvement Passionate about quality care with an interest in developing a deeper understanding of Education (you do not require a Certificate IV in Workplace Training, but it is desirable or working towards) Strong computer literacy and systems knowledge, must be excel confident Well-developed clinical knowledge Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
