About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic Quality and Compliance Manager to manage the development, implementation, maintenance, and management of our business management systems. This role also involves partnering with the business to provide quality assurance guidance and support.
Reporting to the Group Manager for Quality and Sustainability, this permanent full-time position offers the opportunity to help the business achieve its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives, while playing a crucial role in the effective delivery of important services for our clients and wider communities. This position can be located and based in one of our offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Perth.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Develop and maintain certification standards: Actively lead the HSEQ Systems Internal / External audit programs, Enhance business systems to uphold certification standards, ensuring compliance with governance requirements.
Drive business improvement initiatives: Lead and manage initiatives and improvements, ensuring alignment with business targets and objectives.
Documentation and systems management: Actively manage the Integrated Management System (IMS) and document register, ensuring all business documents are current and consistent.
Risk management and compliance: Identify quality system risks and implement risk control measures, supporting the business in operational compliance and sustainability.
Support and upskill employees: Assist in developing and training employees on systems and processes, fostering continuous improvement and ensuring compliance requirements are met.
Stakeholder relationship management: Maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders, providing input and support for business units, bid and tender activities, and managing stakeholder feedback.


About You
To thrive in this role, you will be an experienced quality and compliance professional with a 'trusted advisor' approach to quality assurance and natural ability for 'top-notch' people engagement. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:

Experience managing and/or implementing a Quality Management System (QMS)
Subject matter expertise and demonstrated experience with ISO 45001:2018, 9001:2015, and 14001:2015
Highly developed communication and robust stakeholder engagement ability
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint)
Data-driven decision making – Report, action, present and communicate
