About Us Abergeldie is a locally owned contractor with 30 years' industry experience in Australia and New Zealand. We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy, and Remediation industry sectors. Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works, and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.
About the ABK joint venture The ABK JV is a strategic joint venture partnership with Abergeldie, BMD, and KBR selected as one of two industry partners to deliver major infrastructure upgrades under their Integrated Planning and Delivery model for South East Water for the next ten (10) years. This program will ensure quality and reliable water, sewerage, and recycled water services across the South East.
About the role We are looking for an experienced Quality Advisor to join our team. You will be responsible for:
Maintaining and implementing Quality Management Plans (QMP) and ensuring alignment with client requirements.Developing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Checklists (ITCs).Training and supporting staff on quality management systems.Leading quality assurance meetings and providing monthly quality reports.Monitoring site compliance, addressing non-conformances, and resolving quality issues.Overseeing vendor and subcontractor quality submissions.Participating in client audits and managing quality documentation handovers.What you'll bring to the team As a key member of the construction project team, you will be team-oriented and dedicated to delivering excellence. With outstanding communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, you will thrive in this role.
Experience as a Quality Coordinator, Representative, or Advisor with experience working in the construction sector.Experience in construction engineering.Tertiary qualification in a related field.ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems qualification.Qualified Quality Lead Auditor.General Construction Induction (White Card).Experience in the Water Industry (highly desired).Experience providing internal audit services (highly desired).Why you should work with us Our people are what make Abergeldie successful, and we ensure that this is the kind of place where great people enjoy working for the long term.
