Where is the position located? This is a full-time position at our office in Welshpool, WA.
What will your typical day look like? Lead and comply with EHS & Quality requirements in accordance with Wabtec policy and procedures.Conduct, support and coordinate internal and external audits and prepare audit reports that are clear and concise.Confirm the sufficiency and appropriateness of audit evidence to support audit findings and conclusions.Conduct problem investigations using Root Cause Analysis (8D methodology) and work collaboratively with the team to identify and implement corrective actions.Conduct First Article Inspection/Part Approvals using standard measurement practices.Address non-conformance reports (NCR's) to drive and facilitate Corrective & Preventative actions.Create Quality defect/punch list and track closure of all items to ensure all products are free from defects, meeting the customer's expectations before leaving the manufacturing facility.What do we want to know about you? Three years of experience in a similar role required.Experience following Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) is desirable.ISO Lead Auditor Qualification highly desirable.ISO 9001 experience required; AS4801 and ISO14001 advantageous.Rail Industry or Automotive experience highly desirable.Demonstrable application of LEAN methodologies within a production environment is desirable.Experience implementing 5S is desirable."We are a 2025 Circle Back Initiative Employer – we commit to respond to every applicant."
