JOB SUMMARY:The position is responsible for performing a variety of professional duties related to the development, coordination, and oversight of quality assurance activities at Textron Aviation.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Audits and Corrective Actions (Part-145.A.65):Monitor the effectiveness and suitability of the Quality Assurance System across the service facility in coordination with the ESCAR.Plan and conduct internal audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.Report audit results to the General Manager (GM) and the audited stations.Evaluate suppliers and subcontractors for compliance and quality standards.Facilitate audits conducted by customers and competent authorities, ensuring prompt resolution of audit findings.Review and coordinate responses to customer quality reports and implement corrective actions as needed.Follow up and closure of any identified non-conformities, in coordination with the SM.Responsible for ensuring the competence of all Organization personnel & Staff training.Release of Aeronautical Equipment:Oversee quality planning, guidance, and testing processes for the entire service facility.Ensure accurate documentation of repair and maintenance activities.Verify adherence to company regulations outlined in the Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE) for proper maintenance of aircraft and components, as well as the accurate issuance of release certifications.Incorporate insights gained from maintenance issues into improving the system and facilitating ongoing staff training.Analyze defects related to aircraft under maintenance, enabling the identification and efficient resolution of adverse trends.Liaison with Aviation Authorities:Manage the procurement of necessary approvals and permissions for the maintenance facility from aviation authorities.Ensure timely reporting and documentation of special occurrences to relevant authorities and operators, in accordance with Part-145.A.60.Prepare and submit reports to the National Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) in compliance with Part-145.A.85.Administer and manage Category A/B1/B2/C authorizations in line with Part 66 and company MOE requirements.This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining the highest quality standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting Textron Aviation's commitment to excellence in aviation services.Quality Safety System:Investigate incidents and special occurrences to identify necessary actions and implement measures to ensure quality across the entire operation, in coordination with the ESCAR.Develop and implement methods and procedures to uphold and enhance quality standards.Ensure the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality System in compliance with the Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE) and NCAA regulations, in collaboration with the ESCAR.Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE):Take responsibility for the creation, revision, maintenance, and approval of the MOE in accordance with Part-145.A.70(a).EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:At least 5 years of relevant aviation experience in Continuous Airworthiness Management and/or Aircraft Maintenance.Certification as aircraft certifying staff.Demonstrate sufficient experience in Quality and Safety Management, as well as investigations, relevant to the position, and subject to approval by the authority.Strong understanding of corporate safety risk management and aviation safety practices, including Human Factors, ICAO standards, Local safety requirements, and Just Culture principles.Proven track record in defining, implementing, and managing processes, particularly in the field of Compliance Monitoring.Familiarity with Textron Aviation products is advantageous.Strong communication skills.Completion of Aviation Lead Auditor Training.Completion of Safety Management System (SMS) training.This position demands a high level of expertise in quality assurance and safety management within the aviation industry, as well as the ability to maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory and corporate standards.QUALIFICATIONS:Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges effectively.Excels in written and verbal communication, ensuring clarity and professionalism.Proficient in computer skills, including relevant software and tools.Skilled in conducting analyses to drive continuous improvement initiatives.Maintains a customer-focused approach, prioritizing satisfaction and engagement.The statements above are intended to outline the general scope and nature of work performed by employees in this role.
