Job Description We are seeking a skilled Qualified Painter to join the CW business. The purpose of this role is to undertake assigned planned maintenance works and asset lifecycle painting project works across our PPP accounts; however, this position will predominantly be based at our Royal Women's Hospital Facility.
What You Will Be Doing Perform painting works based on our client's asset lifecycle program schedules at our RWH facility. Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, scraping, and priming. Apply paints, stains, and coatings using brushes and rollers. Choose appropriate tools and materials based on the job requirements. Urgent, routine & ad-hoc maintenance, repairs, inspections on client's premises as directed by the company. Work autonomously or in a team environment for large or small project works. Submit 100% of all work reports within 1 business day from completion. Other small maintenance works may be required at the direction of the trade supervisor. About You You will be a self-motivated individual that can work in a team environment and autonomously with an ability to maintain tools and equipment (including safety equipment), plant items, and hired plant items. Your role may also require helping other trades within the team. Flexible working hours will be required as most of the works will be afternoon shift works.
You will also have an excellent eye for detail to ensure that technical procedures and inspection test plans are performed safely and in accordance with Quality Assurance requirements.
You Will Also Have Relevant Trade Qualification / experience – Minimum of 5 years painting experience in building services within a hospital environment – (Highly desirable). Construction Card EWP Licence & High-Risk Boom Licence – (Highly desirable) Working at heights trained – (Highly desirable) Australian Police Clearance Check Working with children's check Valid Manual Driver's Licence Own hand tools fit for purpose; specialised tools provided by the company.
