Hi, We're looking for a full-time qualified Motor-Automotive Mechanic at Tucketts Tyrepower Cranbourne with at least two years prior experience.
You will be required to undertake the following duties:
Diagnosis of automotive vehicles (various makes and models). Ability to figure out the fault, repair and provide the best possible solution. Mechanical repairs including periodic servicing, brake repair, clutches, and timing belt repair/replacement on different makes and models. Inspect and run diagnostic tests to discover functional issues. Dismantle and replace or repair the defective part or equipment. Change engine and transmission oils. Conduct quality checks before returning vehicles. Adhere to and follow work safety guidelines, report any hazards, and perform general housekeeping and workshop maintenance. Work within a team and work unsupervised. Great attention to detail. European experience is an asset & will be highly regarded but not essential. We are looking for someone reliable, self-motivated, efficient, has good work ethic, independent but also able to work well with others, communicates well and potentially can deal with customers.
Candidate must have:
