As an Electrician at GCR Electrical Systems, you will be responsible for providing high-quality electrical services, including installations, maintenance, and repairs, while upholding our commitment to safety and excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct electrical repairs and troubleshooting across a variety of domestic and commercial settings.Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including solar power systems, air conditioning units, and lighting.Carry out property maintenance tasks, including regular electrical safety checks and testing and tagging.Perform new wiring, house rewiring, and switchboard installation and upgrades.Install and maintain smoke alarms, ceiling fans, and safety switches to ensure compliance with safety standards.Execute power connections, appliance installations and repairs, and power point installations as required.Handle exit lights and emergency lighting installations and inspections.Perform electrical inspections, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and GCR Electrical Systems' quality standards.Collaborate effectively with team members and clients to provide an outstanding customer experience.Key Skills and QualificationsCertificate III or equivalent work experienceDemonstrated experience in domestic and/or commercial electrical work.Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, renewable energy solutions, and safety regulations.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Valid Australian Driver's Licence.Reports ToThe Electrician (General) will report directly to the Lead Electrician or Operations Manager.LocationThis role is based at 3/7-9 Islander Road, Hervey Bay QLD, with services provided across domestic and commercial sites within the area.Summary of Role Requirements:More than 4 years of relevant work experience required for this role.Working rights required for this role.Expected start date for role: 01 November 2024.Expected salary: $39 - $44 per hour.
