Qualified Dermatologists Wanted – Sydney Melanoma Diagnostic Centre, RPAHWe seek talented qualified dermatologists to join the team at the Sydney Melanoma Diagnostic Centre, RPAH to participate in pigmented lesion clinics – full time or part time. The centre uses total body photography, sequential digital dermoscopy imaging, in vivo and ex vivo confocal microscopy, and line-field OCT to assess skin lesions. A research assistant helps with image acquisition and database management, teaching, and research projects. Our nurse will support you with all patient-related tasks.
The Sydney Melanoma Diagnostic Centre (www.melanoma.net.au) is located within the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
The position can be tailored to suit the needs and interests of the successful applicant: just private practice or some involvement in groundbreaking research with possible progression to academic positions.
The position involves consultations for "extreme risk" melanoma patients and requires expertise in in vivo confocal microscopy.
Applicants need to be a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, or be eligible for fellowship.
