Qualified Casual Childcare Cook Braddon,Act And Queanbeyan,Nsw

Details of the offer

This is a chance to join our Childcare Cook Casual Pool, you will oversee kitchen operations when the regular service Cook is on leave.
Becoming key part of the team to nurture a love of food in children aged 0-5 years old as you prepare their meals from scratch.
Shift: 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM, 5 days a week for 4-6 weeks starting in late January, followed by casual shifts.
Duties include:


Planning and preparing all nutritious menus from scratch
Ordering of stock (from preferred suppliers of fruit, vegetables and groceries)
Assisting in small group experiences with the children and introducing them to the wonderful world of cooking
Ensuring health and safety are always maintained at a very high standard


To be considered for this role, it is essential you:


Hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Hold or be willing to obtain an Employee Working with Children Check
A passion for cooking healthy and nutritious meals
