We strive to make a positive contribution to our community by supporting local businesses and employing local personnel. About the Role Seeking Qualified Carpenters with commercial, domestic and/or mining experience to work in our team for a variety of local Karratha project works.
This position is casual with the possibility of becoming permanent full-time at the end of the 3 month probationary period.In addition, you will: Be a motivated and confident self-starter with the ability to work independently but also as part of a team. Understand and comprehend drawings. Uphold a high quality of workmanship. Have meticulous attention to detail. Undertake all aspects of carpentry including maintenance, refurbishments and repairs. Have the ability to problem solve and plan ahead. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be punctual, reliable and presentable. Accept regular after hours scheduled and non-scheduled work. Be willing to be included in call-out roster. Skills and Experience Mandatory Carpentry Trade Certificate SAT (White) Card Current manual drivers licence Police Clearance certificate Pre-Employment D&A Have own tools Desirable Prefer minimum 3 years post apprenticeship Previous mine site experience Working at Heights Qualification High Risk Work Licences – LF and WP advantageous SAP Number What We Can Offer Excellent flat hourly rate dependent on experience with superannuation paid on all hours worked.
Offering work hours between up to 60+ hours per week.
