Ballarat - Bendigo and surrounding areas. Lift Truck Specialists Pty Ltd is a family-owned, local business operating out of a state-of-the-art facility in Wendouree. Since 2004 we have supplied materials handling equipment requirements throughout Victoria through our sales and service centre, as well as hiring and servicing forklifts for an ever-expanding clientele. We pride ourselves on getting the job done as quickly as possible, without compromising on quality.
Lift Truck Specialists Pty Ltd require the services of 2 full-time Field Service/Automotive Technicians for our large customer base and hire fleet.
The positions can be based either in Ballarat, Bendigo and surrounding areas, however we would be keenly interested to hear from applicants who reside and would be able to cover these areas as we have a full contingent of companies who require regular servicing and repairs of their forklifts, scissors lifts etc.
It is a requirement of these positions that the candidates have current driver's licenses, have good computer knowledge, excellent communication skills and a friendly and accommodating demeanor.
It is preferable that the successful candidates will have a forklift license, white card, elevated work platform license and some knowledge of business site inductions, however, we will be happy to assist in all training aspects to acquire these qualifications.
You will be required to work unsupervised as well as be a productive team member with the other service technicians. A service van is provided with this position as well as fuel card, complete uniform and other necessities for this role.
Remuneration will be commensurate of knowledge, skills and proven track record in the service technician industry.
These positions are full-time, 38 hours per week however, overtime may be requested when workload necessitates.
