We are a busy Auto Electrical & Air conditioning workshop in the Gippsland district located in Traralgon.
We have a wide customer base in the automotive, trucking, agriculture and timber harvest industries.
The ideal applicant will be required to work on all types of vehicles, caravans, trucks and machines.
Some of your responsibilities will include: ·         Diagnose and repair electrical faults in vehicles, trucks and machines ·         Diagnose and repair air conditioning faults in vehicles, truck and machines ·         Fit electrical accessories ·         Update the service adviser on job progress ·         Carry out onsite work as required ·         Assist other team members as required ·         Assist in the training of apprentices/trainees ·         Undertake training and keep abreast of industry trends The successful applicant must: ·         Have good problem solving and decision making skills ·         Be clean, well presented and punctual at all times ·         Have good communication skills ·         Be motivated and have a willingness to continue to learn and improve ·         Current driver's license ·         Supply and maintain own tool box and hand tools ·         Be able to perform physical tasks including bending, heavy lifting and carrying, manual labour and use of hand tools This is a full time permanent position.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm.
You will be rewarded with well above award rates.
