Qualified Accountant - Full-Time

IWC has an exciting opportunity to work within their Finance department as a full-time Senior Accountant.
This position will work across all IWC programs and services, responsible for gathering and monitoring financial data, preparing accurate statements, budgeting and forecasting, managing tax payments, and managing Internal Controls and compliance with accounting standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Cash flow forecastingManage stocktakeAssist in preparation of financial reportsAsset ManagementManagement of leasingAccounts payable and receivable tasks (as required)Reconciliation of Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss accountsPreparation of the Business Activity Statement (BAS)Preparation of the Fringe Benefits Tax ReturnAssist with payroll duties (as required)Collaboration with department managers/supervisorsEnd of Month reconciliationsReview payroll and payment runsAssist in insurance renewalsSkills & Attributes: Advanced excel skillsHigh level of accuracyAbility to prioritise work and meet deadlinesStrong ability to learn new skills and systems quicklyHigh level of confidentialityExperience Preferred: SAP Business OnePayrollAccounts experience, particularly in financial reporting2+ years in a similar Accountant roleNFP/Government Funding Reporting ExperienceKey Requirements: Accounting Degree (minimum requirement is Bachelor Degree)A Blue Card (Working with children card QLD)* or ability to obtainFederal police check or ability to obtainCurrent Driver's Licence is essential or the ability to obtainFirst Aid Certificate or ability to obtainSALARY PACKAGE: Your Salary Package is made up of the following:
Salary Sacrifice Packaging valued up to $15,990 per annum – adding approximately $2,000 to your take-home pay (available after completion of probation).Meals and Entertainment Package up to $2,600 per annum (available after completion of probation).9-Day Fortnight (for full-time staff).Superannuation valued at 11.5%.Annual Leave Loading of 17.5%Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
