About the role  We're counting on you to effectively coordinate all conference and event enquiries along with driving new business and sales into the hotel.
Reporting directly to the Events Sales Manager, you are responsible for qualifying incoming event enquiries, meeting client needs with business needs in mind, managing financials and coordinating events before handing on to our operational teams to execute.
You will embody and champion our friendly and highly attentive service standards whilst upholding the policies and procedures of our Hotel & Liquor License.
Key Responsibilities Responsible for quoting, contracting and coordinating all event types at the hotel (including weddings) in a timely and accurate manner, and according to our standard operating procedures Be fully conversant with the products, packages, menus and capacities of our function rooms and outlets in order to provide professional advice and guidance to prospective clients, and sell the space appropriately Ensure the Event Sales phone line / mailbox is constantly manned in the office and liaise with clients following enquiries.
Ensure messages are relayed to relevant colleagues and departments Prepare and share event orders (BEOs) with clients and relevant colleagues Use IVVY CRM platform to manage all event enquiries, bookings, client details and event orders, and to stay up to date with daily tasks Work closely with the Events Sales Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing to maximise revenue opportunities from function facilities, weddings, room nights and F&B outlets.
Facilitate site inspections with clients Follow-up on all pending quotes and convert to tentative where possible Benefits & perks   At EVT, we want our people to experience our businesses and be brand and experience advocates.
