QSD Electrical is growing rapidly and we are looking to expand our team.
About us:
QSD Electrical is a locally owned and operated electrical & air conditioning business in the Pilbara and East Coast dealing with commercial projects.
We specialise in mining camp installations, electrical maintenance, air conditioning and commercial refrigeration.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Electricians and Refrigeration Mechanics to join our team.
Dual trade would be extremely beneficial.
In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and installing industrial and commercial refrigeration equipment, general maintenance of our sites in the Pilbara and installation of camps around the WA region where required.
The ideal candidate would be well presented, communicate effectively with customers and the team, actively seek the best outcome for our customers' needs on breakdowns and preventive maintenance schedules, take pride in the trade they have, and have a willingness to promote their skill set.
Applicants must possess the following skills and experiences:
Trade qualified.
Restricted electrical licence or dual trade.
Diverse skills in aspects of the industry.
Ability to work long hours each day and be on call weekends where required.
Computer literate and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills.
Commercial refrigeration diagnostic and repair experience.
Well presented with sound communication and technology skills.
Possess a can-do attitude and a willingness to think for yourself.
An uncompromising commitment to Workplace Health and Safety.
Must reside in and hold full working rights in Australia.
The ability to work effectively unsupervised, as well as part of a team.
Relevant Trade licence.
ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence.
Current Drivers licence.
Families are welcome!
We have accommodation available on site and work options available for your partner also on site.
We will supply a company phone, company vehicle for work use and uniforms (shirts).
There are several positions available.
Please note this is NOT a FIFO role.
You will be required to relocate to Karratha OR Port Hedland.
We are looking for long term staff.
