The purpose of the Costing Lead | Financial Accountant position is to provide support, guidance, and advice to departments regarding product costing.
This is a full-time permanent position based at our Parkhurst processing plant.

As the Costing Lead, you will be required to:
Month end financial reporting tasks, including general ledger maintenance in SAP and analytical commentary Preparation of journals, accruals & prepayments EOM Stock valuation and costing in SAP Ensure correct alignment & treatment of costs in P&L (e.g., Capital identification, correct cost allocation) Facilitate annual budgets and monthly forecasts Provide support to the business with Business Case analysis Provide operational support to managers & leadership Review maintenance & production work orders to ensure integrity of process Provide assistance with valuation of inventories including stockpiles and work in progress The Requirements
We are looking for people with the following:
Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business CPA/CA qualification or actively working towards completing it Previous demonstrated experience in a similar role BI Experience Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, and ability to engage across multiple stakeholders An understanding of product costing using SAP or knowledge in SAP QMAG Benefits and Culture
