An exciting opportunity is available within Digitally Enabled Business Solutions for a Solutions Architect to provide expertise and undertake specialised program/project activities to enable the successful delivery of a large scale, and complex ICT program or work. Delivery Service Branch, e Health Queensland is leading a program of work to modernise the Queensland Health Patient Administration Solution (PAS) across the state, including all 16 Hospital and Health Services (HHSs). The program is in the readiness phase focused on detailed planning, including the development of the program business case and associated implementation planning activities. This exciting, multi-year, program of work will enhance patient engagement and access to services and support modern healthcare delivery for all Queenslanders. The Solutions Architect will work closely with the Lead Enterprise Architect and project architecture team to deliver, monitor and report on project activities against agreed criteria, across multiple concurrent streams of work. This role will provide comprehensive ICT architectures and design in specialised areas including healthcare integration and technical solution design to support the modernisation of a large and complex statewide enterprise solution. Is this opportunity for you? To be successful in this role you will need a high level of understanding in Enterprise Solutions Domains as well as a demonstrated ability in designing, configuring and documenting enterprise systems within best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks. Your experience should include: Demonstrated healthcare solution architecture experience working in large complex ICT healthcare projects, including planning, preparing, managing technical project deliverables. Demonstrated high level of expertise and experience in healthcare technical architecture (including interoperability and integration) and understanding of service delivery and support models and their impacts within a large and complex organisation. Demonstrated ability to communicate, at business and technical levels, complex architectural concepts, drivers and issues, in both written and verbal formats. Demonstrated understanding of how to integrate information technology with business processes and people. While not mandatory the following qualifications and experience would be well regarded: 5 or more years' experience in solutions architecture within large, complex healthcare organisations. e Health Queensland is one of the largest Information Communication Technology operations in the state.
