Position Overview The position of Psychologist – Senior (Queensland Interdisciplinary Paediatric Persistent Pain Service) will:
Deliver high level, evidence-based, tertiary paediatric psychology services as part of an interdisciplinary team to optimise biopsychosocial outcomes for children and young people experiencing persistent pain.
Provide professional leadership and management in the coordination and delivery of paediatric psychology services and actively participate in research, teaching and training, service development/improvement, supervision, and service planning.
Provide high-level sophisticated psychological clinical guidance to the interdisciplinary team, and provide clinical practice education and mentoring to less experienced psychologists and other practitioners internal and external to QIPPPS.
