The primary purpose of the position is to provide contemporary, innovative and transparent recruitment processes to ensure the recruitment of QBuild workforce is managed smoothly and seamlessly. You will consult with stakeholders, mentor a direct team of recruitment advisors and guide them to achieve excellence, whilst contributing to the design and implementation of innovative solutions aligned to QBuild goals and values.
You will play a pivotal role, providing responsive onboarding services to attract and retain the right candidates to QBuild as part of the expansion under the Rebuild QBuild (RBQB) Program. QBuild relies on the team's specialist expertise to recruit blue and white-collar staff.
Duties and skills involved: Develop and implement contemporary, innovative and transparent recruitment processes and procedures, to ensure the recruitment of QBuild staff is managed smoothly and sensitively, with consideration to QBuild's goal to have a diverse and inclusive workforce. Supervise staff by setting priorities, monitoring workflow, developing local strategies, procedures and work practices, and allocating resources. Investigate, analyse, interpret and evaluate legislation, directives, policies, and procedures related to recruitment and selection and provide stakeholders with accurate advice. Implement sourcing strategies to acquire high volumes of blue and white-collar candidates through a variety of channels. Consult and directly support hiring managers in the development and implementation of appropriate recruitment and onboarding activities aligned to QBuild goals and values. Develop and maintain processes for communication channels (including a high-volume mailbox) and artifacts related to recruitment practices. Contribute to the design and implementation of consistent and quality onboarding training related programs including the maintenance of training records in a learning management system. Analyse and maintain accurate data and develop timely reports for senior leaders. Preferred skills and experience: Queensland Government Recruitment experience (highly regarded) All applicants must be eligible to work in Australia.
