Opportunity for an experienced Project Officer to provide program/project support to assist in the successful delivery of large scale and complex Information Management (IM) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) program/project(s).
The role within the Delivery Support Office will support Program level activities and coordinate the delivery of specialised tasks involving resourcing, reporting, and program maintenance. You will work closely with the Delivery Support team to ensure tight deadlines for competing priorities are met with accuracy, where attention to detail is paramount.
You will also maintain relationships with and between internal and external stakeholders, facilitate effective communications and foster relationships through feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.
Further duties include:
Monitor and report on work package activities against agreed criteria. Provide planning and scheduling assistance to large scale, complex Information Management (IM) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) program/project(s). Maintain program/project files in accordance with Queensland Health regulations and policies. Provide financial support to the business unit by undertaking activities associated with Cost Recovery of Fee for Service (FFS) initiatives, budgeting, asset management, accounts payable and good receipting of invoices. Provide human resource support to the business unit by undertaking activities such as maintaining establishment, providing general HR advice, and applying legislation. Provide recruitment support to the business unit by submitting resourcing requests, organising review of Job Adverts, Role Description and Onboarding/Offboarding of new starters. Assist with the compilation of project management reports and other general administrative tasks. Ensure use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools in line with Queensland Health policy. Is this opportunity for you? Experience in an IM/ICT project environment, including scheduling, risk management, reporting and budgeting, and an ability to coordinate the delivery of work packages. Experience in, or the ability to assist with the compilation of program/project information, maintenance of program/project files and the preparation and presentation of management reports. Ability to learn new systems and adapt to changing priorities will be integral for this role as well as the ability to work with a variety of people and adapt working styles to suit different teams.
