Key Responsibilities Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with the Queensland Public Service values. Develop financial models including options analysis, discounted cash flow analysis, cost benefit analysis, risk analysis, and scenario analysis. Provide financial due diligence to business case proposals to ensure financial viability, and monitor cost benefit realisation as the Supply Chain Branch evolves. Lead and manage business analysis activities within the Supply Chain service lines. Provide strategic and operational advice for the service line's direction for commercial and business analysis. Support commercial negotiations with external vendors. Undertake critical commercial analysis, risk assessments, and evaluation of procurement responses. Initiate, influence, and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communications and fostering relationships across program/project(s). Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces. Qualifications and Experience Demonstrated experience leading and managing business analysis and commercial activities on a large scale in a commercial setting, preferably in the health care or supply chain sector. High level knowledge and application of appropriate business analysis skills, and an ability to promote and provide advice on the use of appropriate techniques, methodologies, and tools. Proven high level negotiation, consultation, facilitation, and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex program/project environment. Qualifications, Registrations, and Other Requirements: While not mandatory, professional and tertiary level qualifications in relevant areas such as financial management and policy, business management, or supply chain management will be favourably regarded.
