Your opportunity This position will be responsible for providing a 24 hour / 7-day week support service for cleaning staff and patient care including cleaning and removal of waste around the hospital. This position will also be required to work with and provide support and advice to Team Leader, Supervisors and/or Manager of Operational Services.
About the Team Operational Services provides and co-ordinates a diverse range of services that support the clinical divisions in the delivery of patient centred health care at Mackay Base Hospital. The department consists of the following key areas:
Cleaning Services Grounds and Gardens Patient Equipment Loan Store (PELS) About our Hospital and Health Service Mackay Hospital and Health Service ( ) has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
