We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team within the Sub-Acute Older Persons Mental Health Unit.
The unit provides specialized, recovery-focused care for older adults with complex mental health needs, ensuring their safety, dignity, and well-being.
As an Occupational Therapist in the Sub-Acute Older Persons Mental Health Unit, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support the rehabilitation and recovery of older adults experiencing mental health challenges.
Your opportunity:
Deliver mental health and occupational therapy clinical services within a multidisciplinary team including intake and assessment, intervention and group work as required, in accordance with professional standards and legislation consistent with the Queensland Plan for Mental Health and the National Standards for Mental Health Services.
Work collaboratively with consumers and multidisciplinary professionals to provide clinical care and a therapeutic environment conducive to the dignity and wellbeing of consumers and carers within Mental Health and Specialised Services.
Provide profession specific services, consultation and support, as required, within the team and service.
Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $132,567 p.a., comprising salary between $79,051 - $116,189 p.a.
(f/t) or salary between $39.87 - $58.60p.h.
(p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f., or Permanent Part Time Positions, hours negotiable) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
