Nurse Project Manager Together In Mind Coordinator South West Hospital and Health Service has an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician to join our Mental Health Team to implement the Together in Mind program in the SWHHS.
Join us in building better health in the bush! The Nurse Project Manager Together in Mind Coordinator will assume primary responsibility for the coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the Together in Mind program in accordance with the contracted number of programs per calendar year.
Together in Mind is a collaborative perinatal and infant mental health day program developed by the Queensland Centre for Perinatal and Infant Mental Health (QCPIMH) and funded by the Department of Health. Together in Mind provides psycho-education and support for women who have a diagnosed moderate to severe mental illness in the postpartum period. The program is designed as an adjunct to community mental health treatment and may also function as a step up/step down support for women recently discharged from inpatient mental health care. Together in Mind is collaboratively facilitated by clinical staff from adult mental health, child and youth mental health, and child health services.

All facilities within the SWHHS (except for Roma ) are designated Remote Area Nursing Incentive Package (RANIP) sites in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award – State 2015. This attracts additional entitlements which may include:
